I have a wide skill set and extremely strong troubleshooting skills. After working nearly a decade in a large international company, I have had exposure to a vast number of technologies which further expanded my own knowledge. My current position exists within a highly regulated and secure environment. This environment has created additional challenges. Most of my responsibility is designing the architecture for production systems, engineering and implementing the solution, and ensuring documentation for the future support of those solutions. I've also spent the last four years developing an ITIL service for the intake, request, fulfillment, support, and access management for these systems. In many cases, solutions required me to develop advanced scripts or utilities of my own. Although not a professional developer, I have shown my ability to learn and adapt to needs of my clients.I like to work with my hands and machines, and my philosophy for IT is closely related. IT professionals are the modern tool and die makers. Unless your core business is providing services, IT is a non-revenue generating segment of your business. It's my job to make your people more efficient by giving them the tools that make their work easier, faster, and with an increase in quality.
