Was working for MAG AERO as an External Pilot flying the Aeronautics Aerostar and Aerosonde AVO/MX.

Site Lead duties• Responsible for decisions at forward deployed site• Supervise all activities, including flight operations, and maintenance.• Interface with visiting agencies, Operations manager, Program Management, and engineers.• Ensure that all crewmembers are current and competent to operate IAW all TM’s and local operating procedures.• Liaise with Air Traffic Control personnel in regards to airspace requirements and procedures.• Address any and all issues regarding safety, crew resource management, and equipment malfunctions to the Operations Manager.Mission Coordinator• Review weather forecasts/SPINS/airspace availability• Ensure completion of mission briefing worksheet, mission risk assessment, and crew briefing• Coordinate with ground crew on any updates to mission or equipment status.• Monitor missions and events-support customer requirements, monitor airspace, weather conditions, and weather updates.• Maintain airspace via ATC and/or computer networks to ensure that the AV is in authorized airspace.Maintenance Lead• Supervise all maintenance operations.• Provide leadership, technical instruction, and management control over material maintenance programs and procedures.• Track and report the status of all equipment, personnel, logistics, and scheduled maintenance.• Perform daily visual inspections of all AV’s and ground launch/recovery equipment.• Ensure all maintenance is performed in a safe manner.• Ensure all calibrated equipment is tracked and turned in on schedule.

• Completed 804 successful launch/recovery evolutions as pilot in command.• Accumulated 180+ hours of Pilot in command hours. • C2 assessor for deployed operations. Responsible for administering yearly flight assessments on all deployed External pilots in the program to ensure that all SOP’s are followed.

UAV operator and chief maintainer.Responsibilities and Accomplishments: Certified operator and maintainer. I was responsible for maintaining all GCS, aircraft, and associated launch and recovery equipment.I deployed with this system September 2009 to August 2010 as the maintenance chief supporting a high tempo customer.
