I was a consultant engineer specializing in DevOps, containers and cloud engineering. My responsibilities changed depending on the project. Most often, I was in an agile workflow building necessary infrastructure in AWS and GCP. This involved adapting to client workflows, architecture and tooling. My most frequently used tools were Python, Kubernetes, Cloudformation and Terraform.

I worked with Cloud and DevOps technology for University of Chicago IT Services. I built applications and infrastructure using services like EC2, Cloudformation, and CodePipeline. I researched decision points and created tooling to help establish our approach to GCP. I streamlined our creation and monitoring of cloud resources with scripts and documentation. I wrote policies that we used throughout the cloud. I advised colleagues on their cloud projects and worked with technology such as Jenkins, Kubernetes and Docker.

I was part of the web services team. I worked in different content management systems, as well as HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I pursued exploratory projects in cloud and container technology whenever they were available. Near graduation I was the primary developer on a containerized RStudio farm which led to a full time position after Graduating.

I was a summer intern in the analytics department. I built a number of tools to automate the creation and monitoring of ad campaigns.

I was an intern at this pharmaceutical research company in the engineering department. I spent much of my time gathering information and creating FDA mandated reports, creating schematics of various building systems and performing basic electronics and metal work in the shop.

I worked as an intern in the analytical lab of Bend Research. This position included work that was confidential, time intensive and involved a large degree of specificity and professionalism. On a more concrete level, I gained experience in a laboratory setting including proficiency with a scanning electron microscope among other analytical tools and in hazardous waste cleanup and disposal.
