- Supervise the staff in all aspects of operations, logistics, communications and unit administration, to include coordinating with the I&I Staff of the host reserve site as required.- Serve as the Training Officer for the detachment, ensuring all training is appropriately planned, conducted and documented that mirrors the unit METLs and ensures that all annual training requirements are met.- Ensure that the detachment maintains an appropriate level of readiness to support deployment of teams for Facilities Inspections, Coalition Exercises or other MARFORRES requests.- Provide HazMat, Environmental and Safety guidance and instruction to exercise commanders at exercise planning meeting and exercises and to site managers via compliance inspections as required.- Conduct Operational Risk Management (ORM) assessments.- Develop and demonstrate proficiency in billeted Military Occupational specialty (MOS) skills through training and performance in role in accordance with all related Marine Corps regulations and other Federal guidelines.- Assist the Detachment Chief in the recruitment and screening of prospective Marines for the detachment.- Counsel Marines on their job proficiency, performance, conduct and development.- Lead the ESD Detachment in the absence of the OIC.

We specialize in anything from planning, organizing and conducting mounted/dismounted deliberate breaching operations at the Company level, employing expedient and deliberate demolitions, conducting route/area sweeping operations, constructing explosive and non-explosive obstacle systems, constructing hasty and deliberate protective and tactical minefields, employing force protection measures, constructing and maintaining limited combat roads and trails in support of Division operations.I have the privilege to be a Marine Officer and lead Marines in these such duties as well as plan and organize such events.

As the Logistics Officer I facilitate proper execution of TEEP events, training site-surveys, site-surveys of USEMBs, support to international training, and oversight of the operations section. I am also responsible for coordinating with multiple services and civilian agencies to deploy platoons and provide sustainment in support of operations and training. FASTPAC is required to support its own planning, operational and logistics coordination, movement and mission execution, and supervise sustainment, enhancement, and annual training for the platoons during their deployments to Japan. Officer Candidates School training will be more demanding than any you've experienced before, regardless of commissioning program.- Graduate of The Basic SchoolTraining at The Basic School emphasizes the role of an infantry platoon commander. Patrolling and war-fighting tactics are among the skills you must further develop to lead your Marines by example. I learned to mentor, train and develop the individual Marines in my command. I also learned how my role contributes to the overall Marine Corps mission and organizational structure. In the final phase, a five-day offensive/defensive exercise and a four-day combat exercise, beginning with a helicopter assault, testing everything I've learned. I have left The Basic School an effective leader, ready to command with confidence.

This event allowed people and family members who have been touched by any and all types of cancer. It also allowed the community to meet and connect with others as well as learn about what all is out there to live the best life you can live.
