Smith & Salmon, Inc. is a parent company that owns and operates Food & Beverage companies including Sap! Beverages and Four Quarters Brewing.

Sap! makes a line of sparkling beverages made from 100% pure maple and birch tree sap sourced from the forests of Vermont.

Crafted a market study and business plan, as part of my MBA Practicum, to help Casella’s Industrial Solutions group better integrate their operations with the rest of the company’s assets, business lines, and customers.

In addition to my Judiciary Committee LSA duties, I took on a broader portfolio of support work for Senator Leahy in two areas of personal interest and passion: global clean water and sanitation access (WASH) under the jurisdiction of the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs. And on issues of energy, agriculture, and the environment for Senator Leahy.

Covered immigration and gun-violence issues, working extensively on comprehensive immigration reform (S.744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act), EB-5 legislation, and oversight of respective government departments and agencies that fall under the jurisdiction of the Senate Judiciary Committee (Department of Justice, FBI, Department of Homeland Security).
