Maintained the responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager in addition to the responsibility of Material Handling. Developed methods to combine raw material purchases for both companies to leverage cost and efficiency. Implemented a strategy for raw material purchases to hedge against supply chain shortages during the pandemic.

Responsible to develop and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers while continuing to manage the Shipping and Receiving Department. Negotiated all agreements to include LTAs with suppliers of materials and purchased components. Installed a software system for creating part numbers and purchase orders. Initiated a supplier symposium to further develop supplier relationships. Developed an electronic method of storing raw material certifications. Took on additional IT responsibilities in 2003. Implemented ERP software, coordinated the install of an integrated phone system, created an intra-company network and collaborated with others to develop a customized sales order program.

Led the Shipping and Receiving Team to confirm that all incoming components, materials and other products were accurately completed, including identifying and counting parts, inspecting for damage, and confirming items matched supplier packing lists. Created a training document for new employees to ensure that they were competent to do their job.
