At LPR Media, I worked as their Marketing Intern. I learned much about the daily operations of a business during my time at the firm, and I undertook meaningful projects for the company. I was tasked with building a new website using the Square Space website builder, which has garnered over 3,000 visits since launch. I also produced several high-quality advertisements for auto-dealerships nationwide. Workflow management, teamworks, and communication were crucial skills that I gained during my time at the company, and I found an appreciation for the work I was doing.

I was the Sailing and Aquatics Camp Director of the 2021 season at the Glencoe Beach. As Camp Director, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the camp. Responsibilities included weekly lesson planning, overseeing continual safety training for both the counselors and campers, external communication, employee performance reviews, amongst other things. I was also in charge of leading the daily sailing lessons, increasing my teaching ability.Additionally, the camp had to adhere to the Covid regulations at that time. These guidelines were constantly changing, and the camp had to adjust to them for the safety of the campers. This was another large responsibility that I had to take charge of, and the longevity of the camp depended on it.Overall, the experience I gained from this position has primed me to take on large amounts of responsibility at an early age. I am confident in my leadership and problem solving skills, and I learned how to take responsibility for issues in a professional setting.

Now I am the boat house and beach house manager at the Glencoe Beach. Manage 7-8 employees at a time on a typical day, ensuring staff remains on task and the beach runs smoothly. On a busier day, there can be upwards of 1000 people at the beach.Teach sailing at the Glencoe Beach Sailing and Aquatics Camp, a highly regarded camp in the community.Acquired First aid and waterfront lifeguard certifications, along with a safe power-boating certification.
