Received, installed, & performed Equipment Maturity Assessment for 3 systems, Upon receipt of his AAS in Electrical Technology, Morrisville SUNY College, Mr. Taft joined East Fishkill, NY as an Equipment Technician in 1978. He held numerous technical service positions providing semiconductor wafer process equipment support for Quartz Sputtering, RIE, Photolithography, Measurement, Inspection, CVD, PVD, and Chemical Process Tools. In 1991, Mr. Taft was promoted to Associate Engineer/Scientist through academic and life work experience. He provided real time delivery of engineering changes on Hontas Electron Beam Direct Wafer Write systems in East Fishkill N.Y., Burlington Vt., and Essones France. Transferred in 1993 to Burlington, Vt. providing Manufacturing Engineering support to Mask Manufacturing Facility. Return to East Fishkill, N.Y. in 1995 as a sustaining Equipment Engineer in Advanced Semiconductor Technology Facility. 2001 he was promoted to Advisory Engineer and supported the introduction of Supercritical CO2 into Semiconductor wafer processing. His expertise expanded with move to 300mm Facility as lead Equipment Engineer responsibilities managing performance of a fleet of Surface Prep Decks, SCCO2, Cu Plating Systems, CoWP Electro-less Cap Processor in East FishkillCompleted B.S. in Management Technology Magna Cum Laude from Marist College Poughkeepsie, NY in August 2007 as member of Gamma Eta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lamda national honor society.
