I have been in this role for nearly 7 years now and have received multiple promotions and title changes. I have been able to accumulate a vast array of professional skills while executing this role.As a procurement agent, you are working closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teammates daily. It is my responsibility to manage multiple aircraft-seating programs that have lifespans ranging from nine months to four or more years. This role has allowed me to build upon my professional development in countless, invaluable ways. I have gained the crucial organizational skills required to balance all of these programs at the same time. I have gained the ability to create a mutual understanding between culturally or ideologically differing groups of people. I need to be able to work with and communicate with a broad range of customers anywhere from the Seattle area to The United Arab Emirates. In October of 2021, I was promoted to a supplier-integrated lead. This new role requires a high-level understanding of specific suppliers and their operations/business strategies. I work with my suppliers to improve efficiency, planning, and problem-solving. I have recently completed a 5-month assignment at one of Boeing's key suppliers in North Carolina. I was assigned to a program that was already 5 months late and in charge of managing the production, supply chain, and certification in order to deliver product in as timely a manner as possible. I am looking forward to another similar assignment starting April 8th in Kilkeel, Northern, Ireland.I am someone who is driven by personal achievement and success. I am always looking to be moving forward.
