In this position I have the responsibility for management and administration of EDiS Building Systems projects. Includes design coordination, budget estimating, value engineering in the preconstruction phase. Construction duties include coordination with the project team, quality control and cost performance. Additionally in 2010 I was instrumental with the start-up of quoting, selling, and providing consultation for Butler parts thru an internet sales program.

I moved into the Builder Services department as a technical screener. This position included the screening of all incoming building orders in the North East region. In order to clean them up technically for the engineering process to begin. Often this included meetings with the builder to help with putting the order together. This position also included making sure the order was priced correctly.In the fall of 2001, I moved into my current position as project manager for the state of Pennsylvania. When one of my fellow project managers announced her decision to retire in the fall of 2003, I also took over as project manager for the sates of Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia. In the role as project manager for Butler Mfg. I was the personal contact for over forty Butler Builder Ships. I assist these builders in order entry, scheduling, pricing, shipping, technical issues, and claim resolution.

In the fall of 1995 I had the opportunity to move into the engineering department. As an engineering tech my responsibilities included the detailing of projects under the direction of a registered engineer. This position enabled me to build upon my knowledge of both the construction and manufacturing aspects of the pre-engineered metal building business. I had the opportunity to be in both the planning and execution stages of projects.

I started my career at Butler Mfg. as an A.W.S. and Canadian certified welder. My responsibilities included the layout, assembly, and welding of built up frame members. I also had the opportunity to be a trained floater; this position included the learning of every major manufacturing position on the shop floor. I would fill in on different positions for a week or more depending on the situation.

I worked as a foreman overseeing a team of nine welders at the DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE. The primary responsibility of this team was the installation of F.D.A. approved stainless steel ducts in the new pharmaceutical research building. This project ran over a plus five-year period at a budgeted eighty five million dollars.
