For 40 years Charles Barker has provided collaborative negotiation and conflict management services to business, government, and other organizations world-wide as an advisor, instructor, mediator, coach and negotiator. Mr. Barker is the Managing Director of PrimeMovers, a firm specializing in collaboration and conflict management. Mr. Barker also is a member of the Research Faculty of Uppsala Faculty of Law and has served as a Visiting Professor at the London School of Economics. He has taught at the Harvard Negotiation Project and other law schools and seminaries, written articles, and created and/or appeared with the late Roger Fisher in training software and instructional videos based on Getting to YES and more recently emerging negotiation theory.Mr. Barker's commercial focus is in health care, financial services, information technology, energy, manufacturing and management consulting. In the public sector, Mr. Barker has worked with the United Nations in Latin America, the Norwegian Peoples' Aid in Syria, Mercy Corps in Iraq, the Duke Center for International Development, The Global Fund, and the Justice, Peace and Reconciliation Committee of the Episcopal Church of Sudan.
