Primary responsibilities involve applying Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (Title VII), the Equal Pay Act, The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Rehabilitation Act. Perform special research projects for senior attorneys, including case involving a federal agency's challenge to the Commission's jurisdiction.

Conducted extensive research into numerous substantive areas of the law, including military justice, constitutional rights, and administrative law. Researched changes to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) to determine how punitive articles as enacted specifically applied to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender servicemembers. Investigated background story of a servicemember who experienced extensive abuse and hazing at the hands of his command, to determine which UCMJ articles may have been violated; the memo written for this assignment was used to compose a letter to the United States Secretary of Defense. Responded to inquiries from clients.

Researched and analyzed the relationship between the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and levels of impunity in Bosnia. Research contributions attributed in DIANE F. ORENTLICHER, OPEN SOCIETY INSTITUTE, THAT SOMEONE GUILTY BE PUNISHED: THE IMPACT OF THE ICTY IN BOSNIA 8 (2010).

Primary responsibilities included assisting research department with compiling data, inputting information into final reports, and reviewing and editing final reports. Assisted recruiting department by contacting potential jurors, enrolling participants, and keeping in touch with enrollees to relay information. Reviewed and summarized depositions for Vice President. Assisted with mock trials, both at home and away, by setting up technical equipment, receiving and instructing jurors, assisting attorneys by providing requested information, and miscellaneous logistical services.

Responsible for monitoring customer service representatives’ incoming phone conversations with clients to ensure optimal customer service. Conducted monthly audits in the pharmacy in-call customer service department. Used audit information to inform individual team leaders of monthly performance measures, identified areas for improvement, and recommended techniques for improving performance. Trained and mentored customer service associates through simulated client conversations. Performed customer service duties during times of peak call volume.
