I am a Master of Arts in Counseling Candidate at Northwestern University, where I am developing my skills and knowledge in evidence-based interventions, assessment, and research. With a bachelor's degree in humanities from NYU School of Professional Studies, and a partial bachelor of fine arts in drama from University of North Carolina School of the Arts, I have a strong foundation in creative writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. I am passionate about helping people overcome their challenges and achieve their goals, and I use my creativity and empathy to tailor my approach to each client's unique situation. I possess a Certificate in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy from Brown University, and have studied various spiritual practices for clients seeking integrated spiritual or existential guidance. Finally, I am currently a Mental Health Counselor-Intern at Restore and Renew Therapy in Manhattan, NY where I co-lead a DBT skills group and see various clients weekly.
