Technical Support Sales Engineer
Current• Improved the efficiency and capabilities of the company’s customer support by implementing a ticketing system to ensure support requests / RMAs are being tracked and resolved promptly• Interface directly with customers to troubleshoot and solve technical software/hardware issues; hands-on involvement from ticket creation through completion • Work directly with software developers, engineers, technicians, sales, and management to diagnose the customer claim, and determine a solution/path forward that both is satisfactory to the customer and minimizes cost/resources used• Hold weekly meetings to communicate RMA / Support tickets status to management/production teams• Schedule resources needed to close out tickets in a timely manner• Lead engineer responsible for customer training on airborne hyperspectral hardware/software packages (in person, via video call, and creation of instructional videos)• Provide support to the sales team by outlining how our technologies could benefit potential customers directly relating to their industry and/or desired application • Ability to quickly analyze unforeseen conditions and problem solve with limited resources• Flexibility to dedicate time/efforts to strategic areas most beneficial to the company
