Sales intern for specialty testing equipment including tensile, vibration, hardness and other material testing. Developed and maintained new online equipment sales market place on company website. Responsible for Inside Sales calls as well as local Sales including cold calls. Often worked with engineers to educate myself on how to run tests on materials in test lab as well as run machines for potential customers. Managed logistics of shipping machinery, assured that shop employees prepared proper pallet and crating in time for machinery to be shipped. Assured that freight was coordinated and machine was properly labeled and packed with all necessary paperwork. Procured obsolete and antiquated machinery from customers to update for resale. Provided Sales support with customer visits and meetings including International customers.
