Leading the creation and execution of a wide-ranging marketing and communications strategy focused on the unique needs of Special Olympics Massachusetts’ brand and sub-brands. Working to drive leads and impressions with a focus on conversion for revenue and mission growth.

Special Olympics Massachusetts provides year-round sports training, athletic competition and other health-related programming for athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the state.In addition to the obvious physical benefits of playing sports, Special Olympics provides the opportunity to fit in for many who have struggled to do so all their lives. Through the power of sport, athletes with and without intellectual disabilities meet on the playing field, realize they are more similar than they are different, and create a more open and inclusive community. Whether highlighting an athlete at a state competition, hosting athlete leadership programs, providing an outlet for athletes to provide input to the organization they are the center of, or live tweeting a Unified Soccer match from the pitch at Gillette Stadium, I see my role as that of a facilitator. I get to be the middle man who shares the stories, mission and joy of Special Olympics Massachusetts with our greater community.

Leadership MetroWest is a respected nonprofit community leadership development organization serving the region and now recognizing 30 years of impact of our 800+ alumni of the signature program, the Leadership Academy. Each year the Leadership Academy brings together 30 established and emerging leaders from every sector of MetroWest to explore issues, institutions, resources, and opportunities in the region.Leadership fellows emerge from their year-long Academy experience with valuable cross-sector connections, community knowledge, and a strong sense of personal direction. They are invigorated, confident, committed, and better prepared to help effect community and organizational change.Participants engage in monthly site visits and discussions with local, regional and state leaders and experts and experience diverse schools of thought and team-building while refining their personal leadership capacity and cultivating relationships with other leaders.2017 Leadership Academy Class Project: 30 Days of awareness When meeting with municipal, public safety, and health and human services leaders in every MW community, when we asked about the most pressing challenge they faced, we heard from each that the opioid crisis is the most urgent. Our "30 days of awareness" social media campaign began on May 1st and for 30 days brought awareness and information covering four overarching themes: the scope of the crisis, who is impacted, prevention and treatment, and recovery strategies. Supervise year round child development programs for the Farmington Valley Branch of the Greater Hartford YMCA. Manage 4 before and after school sites serving approximately 100 children per day. In the summer supervise 2 summer day camps - one on site and one at a satellite 85 acre outdoor center serving over 300 children per day. Work with a management team of 7 individuals to carry out the mission based programs of the YMCA.

Supervise 100 staff members in summer resident and day camps. Up to 375 campers are served each day. Maintain program supervision and ensure safety at all times.

Director for summer programs including Resident camp for 300 children and day camp for 75 children. Responsible for creating and managing $900K budget.
