Responsible for the performance tuning, software maintenance and administration of Sun, Linux and VMWare Servers. Also maintained multiple EMC SANs. Main duties are documenting, implementing, and installing OS and third party software upgrades to existing and new systems. Also performed system tuning using sun tools and custom shell scripts to collect statistics and to perform checks on certain network segments. I have also utilized the new ZFS filesystem and solaris containers for our developers. I am also responsible for user accounts, group accounts, and printer setup utilizing NIS, NFS, and DNS. I have also worked with the auditors on the Sarbane Oxley audits of the Oracle financials and have secured all the solaris boxes. I have also utilized Volume Manager, and DiskSuite software to implemented all raid levels. I was also utilized to troubleshoot developer’s issues with software and networking problems(TCP/IP).

Responsible for the performance tuning, software maintenance and administration of 40+ Sun servers, Truesite device, and T3 raid arrays. Main duties are documenting, diagraming, and installing software upgrades and systems to allow safe and and seemless access to data for our customers. Also performed system tuning using sun tools and custom shell scripts to collect statistics and to perform checks on certain network segments. I am also responsible for the setup of Storage Arrays and volume management utilizing Veritas Volume Manager, and DiskSuite software. Implemented Raid 0, 0+1, and 5 levels. I was also utilized to troubleshoot Ecommerce, database, and networking problems(TCP/IP), maintained user accounts, performed various other system administion duties(NFS,NIS, & DNS), and documented new procedures for patches and software installs. Also perfomed security audits and participated in meetings and assessments.

I was also utilized to troubleshoot networking problems (TCP/IP), maintained user accounts, performed various other system administion duties(NFS,NIS, & DNS), and documented new procedures for patches.
