GIS Applications SpecialistRoles and Responsibilities:• GIS and mapping workflow consultation for Petroleum Exploration and Mining.• Team participant in the scoping, design and specification of the BHP Americas GIS architectural framework which included the Petroleum, the Potash and the Copper Business groups in the US, Canada and Chile, Peru and Ecuador, respectively. • Advised Petroleum Business management on direction of work, cost and time on high profile projects including the spatializing of Drilling data, cloud initiative for satellite imagery from Digital Globe and the Gulf of Mexico Prospects GIS Project.• Design and implementation of the GIS software asset and configuration management system based on ITIL principals and framework for BHP globally. • Spatial data management and data extract transform and load workflows (ETL) with raster data including imagery, LiDAR, sonar & other remotely sensed data and vector data including shapefiles, SDE layers, CAD & JSON. • GIS subject matter expert (SME) and GIS technical consultant for GIS, mapping, and spatial data management for the BHP Americas Business groups and their Projects.

GIS Applications ArchitectRole and Responsibilities:• GIS and Mapping workflow consultation for Accenture’s US and Canadian oil & gas clients. • Spatial data management consultation including ETL for Accenture client Talisman Energy. • GIS technical consultant & GIS subject matter expert (SME) to Accenture clients Talisman Energy and Shell Pipeline Company.• Staff augmentation for GIS, mapping, Spatial ETL and Spatial data management for Accenture clients.

Computer Applications Software EngineerRoles and Responsibilities:• GIS and Mapping Applications 2nd Level Support for Houston and other BP Sites worldwide• Release and Deployment Management for ArcGIS, Blue Marble Desktop, and other E&P Applications• GIS Technical Consultant & SME for the Pipeline Project Facilitation Tool (PPFT), a BP proprietary spatial information system for managing pipeline projects/systems through their lifecycle.
