As a Bourbon Production Expert, my position is responsible for the entire process of making Bourbon. Rotationally, we are tasked with grains receiving, milling, cooking, fermentation, distillation, barreling and warehousing, and dry-house operations. This includes all quality and lab testing of grains, mash, distillate etc. The purpose of this position is to be a multi-functional craftsman across all aspects of the production of quality Bourbon. Additionally, we are responsible for the oversight of various projects, maintenance, improvements and coordination with contractors and vendors. The unique structure of this site leads towards a minimal leadership team, with a BPE crew of 32 professionals cohesively working together to manage and operate the distillery.

As the second shift Maintenance Supervisor, I overseen and was solely responsible during my shift for ensuring all facilities and equipment where maintained in good operational condition and ensured problems where resolved prior to shifts end. I led and directed a team of five maintenance specialists and two electricians ensuring daily goals and tasks where met and completed. I regularly worked with local contacts to secure parts and material for recovery from failures of equipment as well as obtaining items from major equipment manufacturers. Responsible for the planning and performance of airframe and structural maintenance on a fleet of U.S. Army Reserve aircraft, components, and subcomponents, to include scheduled/preventative and unscheduled maintenance, periodic overhaul, and modification work orders. Charged with training, directing and coordinating six structural technicians on metal and composite repairs, as well as fabrication of specialized shop and aerospace tools and equipment.

As an NCO I supervised directly 8 Young Airman and was tasked with the guidance and development of their careers. Performing as an Aircraft Crew Lead I oversaw the restoration of B-2 Aircraft directing 5-15 person muilti-agency teams. I also wore the hat of Shift trainer and Corrosion Facility Assistant Manager.
