I am a Computer Scientist/Technical Specialist with over 4 years of experience with Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) and Terminal Second Level Engineering (TSLE). He first worked with the STARS Deployment Team, verifying that STARS equipment is certifiable, sustainable, and maintainable. His experience on the team includes extensive OJT on the hardware of the system, as well as being on the team for Deployment Phase 1 at ORF Norfolk Airport. He then transferred to STARS Software Development Team where his duties shifted to working in Ruby on Rails and helping to clean up and run SWIT test procedures in the lab. His current position is as a Property Delegate with the Asset Management team where he handles shipping Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), excessing equipment, and managing inventory within Redmine. In addition to the Asset Management responsibilities, he has taken on testing of Redmine and the tools used to manage the inventory of all projects storing items at the Delilah Road Facility. He previously worked directly with Dr. Howard Apple of Apple Medical Incubator LLC on development, analysis, and problem solving on integrated hardware and software systems designed for a prototype medical device.
