• Design and develop web sites to clients’ specifications. Experience with a range of requirements, from designing layout and graphics to creating a web site around graphics supplied by the client. Interface sites with e-commerce packages. • Design interfaces for clients’ complex e-commerce needs, such as product personalization. • Maintain web pages and product databases for clients. • Use PHP for web pages, Perl to assist with back-end data handling, and MySQL for databases. • Answer clients’ technical questions. • Work with clients remotely–over email and the phone–as well as locally.

Over the years, my work with Wesner Media has included working full-time on websites for publications in the Texas Hill Country, advertising design, postal processing, and assisting with writing and other publication needs.

Hill Country Current features the businesses unique to the Texas Hill Country. We’re here to help people find where to eat, sleep, and play. It’s a spotlight on the Hill Country Lifestyle. Hill Country Current is published the first week of every month with 14,000 issues distributed throughout the Texas Hill Country and to TxDOT's traveler information centers.

• Assist with server updates. Co-administrate online collaborative virtual environment used for distance learning. • Developed and maintain web application for writing center’s tutors which catalogs a range of information about tutoring sessions and provides the college with statistical information. • Developed survey for two-year college writing centers. • Developed interactive question-and-answer troubleshooter for people new to the college’s distance learning system. • Wrote web server for virtual environment.

• Developed, maintained, and supported: Computer lab, room, and equipment scheduler; GroupWise/personnel user database; Surveyor and science survey; curricular database; custom teacher and student blogs; and Accelerated Reader quiz list browser/search • Created and maintained databases and database structures for above services. • Installed and maintained the Linux server. Backed up databases and stored off-site. • Processed and formatted information from web applications, such as Scheduler Report (2002-2003), Technology Department survey results, and imported teacher data into Scheduler from varying formats. • Helped teachers with web applications through a problem ticket tracking system. Communicated with campus technology facilitators. • Worked with employees in Technology Services and Instructional Services on creating and updating custom software to fit their expert needs.

• Used Adobe Photoshop 3.0 to design posters and other graphics for clients such as University of Texas at Austin Athletics Department. • Maintained web site. Maintained, upgraded workstations. Researched images for supervisor.

• Upgraded operating systems and RAM on elementary school campuses. Set up computer workstations. Answered technology support calls at Help Desk and entered tickets. Informed teachers about upgrades and computer-related information.
