Cosa Nostra PR supplies a boutique publicity service catering to a wealth of top music industry clients, mostly within the sphere of rock and metal. In September 2017 I was approached by the company founders with the opportunity to head up their expansion into the US. Our goal at Cosa Nostra PR is to find new and exciting ways to promote our artists and their releases/live activity whilst also ensuring that the fundamentals of a great publicity campaign are taken care of. We tailor each campaign we work on to the artist and their specific goals and needs so no two campaigns ever look the same with us. Live Nation is the world’s leading live entertainment company. I started my journey as Press Assistant and was promoted 4 times over 9 years, leading the UK PR function for 5 years. During my time at the company, I oversaw touring PR campaigns for a huge range of artists such as Beyonce, Drake, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, U2, Fleetwood Mac, Motorhead, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon, Depeche Mode, Dolly Parton and the Eagles to name a few. I was also in charge of leading external PR agencies in the design and execution of best-in-class PR campaigns for the company’s UK festival portfolio, including Download, Wireless and Calling.
