During my internship, I provided advisory services to government agencies, major corporations, developers and investors to guide them in making decisions on development and project management.✔Strategy & Business Analysis- Critically applied Porter’s Five Forces, SWOT and PEST to assess business strategies of 9 clients, including market entry analysis and 10-year sustainability.- Gathered and efficiently analyzed raw data with SQL and Pivot Table to test strategic hypotheses and prepared statistical support to develop actionable recommendations within strict deadlines.- Compiled aesthetically appealing PPT slides and cooperatively created monthly and seasonal presentations such as white papers and industry reports for internal management and external clients as an approach to solve their most challenging problems.- Created operational models to help government clients visualize cost structures and development opportunities, such as streamlining supply chain and bureaucracy while focusing efforts on core values.✔Client Engagement & Relationship Management- Conducted frequent on-site market research for projects worth over $1M and successfully recommended solutions for 9 engagements from retail, commercial real estate, and city construction.- Examined financial statements for top 5 companies in a newly appointed free-trade zone in Chengdu and provided forecasting analysis for long-term growth.

My role was both technical and rewarding. I demonstrated working with large volume of data in Excel and coordinated activities with multiple business partners such as Bank of China and external clients.✔Financial Modelling & Data Analysis- Demonstrated financial modelling with a large volume of data extracted from Bloomberg to explain historical and projected financial information in the currency exchange markets.- Performed detailed valuation analysis on prospective foreign investments of $50M.- Self-motivated to curiously engage in regular research and practice international fund exchange procedure, as well as advancing Excel skills to “using only keyboards”.
