Charlie’s areas of practice include Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation. He focuses his legal practice on criminal cases in state courts and personal injury cases. Charlie handles cases such as automobile accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, wrongful death, slip and fall, DUI defense, traffic violations, drug charges, criminal defense, among others. Charlie is active in the community and passionate about his clients. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar and licensed by the Supreme Court of South Carolina. Charlie was born and raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He attended Orangeburg Preparatory School (Orangeburg, SC) and graduated from Woodberry Forest School (Orange, VA) in 2000. While at Woodberry, Charlie played 3 varsity sports and studied abroad at the University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria. In 2004, Charlie graduated with Honors from Wofford College (Spartanburg, SC), acquiring a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. While at Wofford College, Charlie was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order, and he studied abroad in various locations such as Thailand, New Zealand, and China. After attending Wofford College, Charlie was a licensed realtor for Scalise Realty in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In 2009, Charlie received his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While attending law school, Charlie was a member of the Student Bar Association, Phi Delta Phi, and the John Belton O'Neall Inn of Court. Charlie is licensed by the Supreme Court of South Carolina to practice law.Charlie is married to Lauren Blake (Smith) Williams of Bamberg, South Carolina. After working four years as a Register Nurse at Palmetto Health Richland, Blake accepted the nursing position at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School in 2009.
