As editor of SWITCH I oversee the day-to-day running of the website and its social media account, liaise with the ten other contributors on articles and deadlines, produce and edit video content, organise giveaways, deal with customer enquiries, subedit all article submissions, work with distributors and festivals to secure screenings and interviews, and review films. I put a daily live news program to air as Chief Producer and Supervising Producer. I make editorial decisions to construct the program rundown. I work with journalists, producers, graphics designers, editors and studio crew to ensure informative, accurate and engaging content. I ensure all elements are completed ahead of tight daily deadlines. I liaise with TV, online and radio teams to share content, contacts and information. I collaborate with producers, journalists and graphics designers to improve the quality and accessibility of content. I produce, write and edit show scripts, promos and updates. I arrange reporters, crews, studios and transmission methods for live crosses. I discover and research potential story ideas.

I headed up Sunday Night's online and social media presence. I created a workflow to conceptualise, produce, assemble and output online content for the program. This strategy involves writing scripts, scheduling shoots, editing new and pre-existing material, and sharing on the relevant online channels at the optimal times. It requires me to work seamlessly alongside numerous team members and departments, creating rigorous schedules and forward planning for upcoming episodes, which allows me to utilise my substantial organisational skills to develop and create the desired product.Within this role, I work with both internal and external clients to complete projects with tight turnarounds, extreme flexibility and instinctual problem-solving as a result of the changing landscape of the news and current affairs environment. Applying both my creative and technical skills within the field, I have exponentially expanded the online presence of Sunday Night since commencing this position, and launched a highly successful and profitable YouTube channel for the show.
