I am currently entering my junior year at Indiana University. Studying accounting and finance at the Kelley School of Business has provided an invaluable educational experience. Through hands-on experiences and rigorous coursework, I have developed analytical and decision-making skills that will support my future career. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of accounting practices, financial principles, and the broader business landscape.During my time at Indiana University, I have been part of several projects and clubs that have established my ability to manage budgets, analyze financial statements, and build strategies for business efficiency and growth. As Vice President of Finance at Sigma Phi Epsilon, I have led the pathway for our chapter to recover a $280,000 inherited deficit. In less than fourteen months, our chapter has extinguished all debt and expanded our mission to guide many new members. Climbing out of a deficit has taught me multiple things but most notably patience and persistence. Another proud accomplishment I have been fortunate to experience during my time at Indiana University has been the founding of Sprout Financial Literacy Club. As the Vice President and Co-Founder, I have helped create the blueprints for the organization's future operations. The club is designed to engage teenagers and young adults in their personal finance journey. My deep-rooted passion for Sprout Financial Literacy has helped me learn to be detail-oriented and analytical in the construction of a team. I am driven to utilize this knowledge to contribute to financial environments and optimize the business outlook.I am enthusiastic to apply my skills in a professional environment, where I can take on new challenges, continue my personal growth, and make a meaningful impact. I am eager to experience new learning opportunities to foster skills and understanding in the business setting.
