The Cold War Museum® is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to education, preservation, and research on the global, ideological, and political confrontations between East and West from the end of World War II to the dissolution of the Soviet Union.The Museum is located at Vint Hill, in one of the former Vint Hill Farm Station buildings used during the Cold War by the US Army, the National Security Agency, and the Central Intelligence Agency to intercept and interpret coded messages. Our collections are particularly strong on signals intelligence, image intelligence, aerial surveillance, civil defense, Berlin, the East German secret police (STASI), the Cuban Missile Crisis, and events such as the Pueblo and Liberty incidents. The Museum shares a campus with The Inn at Vint Hill, the Vint Hill Craft Winery, the Covert Café, and Old Bust Head Brewing Company. Developed better relationships with activist groups, completed agreements with India and China to better account for US missing, improved budget management of the project. Held this position concurrently with position of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense.

Participated in working group on Africa.

Developed in conjunction with Cambodian Government and US agencies an effective program to combat human trafficking. Forged new bilateral defense relationship.

As first US consul general to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was responsible for establishing first official US presence in this city after end of Vietnam War. Very large consular operation and extensive work with US business investing in the area. Worked with US military and local government on recovering remains of US personnel lost in war, and, with DOJ in movement of Amerasian and other refugees. Responsible for US Government programs in southern two-thirds of country. Winner of Thomas Jefferson Award from American Citizens Abroad (ACA) for support to US business.

As chief of the collection branch, I was responsible for countrywide intelligence operations in cooperation with the military intelligence service of the then-ARVN.

Responsible for developing plans for counterintelligence operations of US Army CI units in the US.
