When I founded Nuavect, I wasn’t just starting a business—I was responding to a gap in modern journalism that I couldn’t ignore. It was clear to me that our increasingly polarised media landscape was leaving many voices unheard and critical issues oversimplified. The nuanced “grey areas” of sociopolitical discourse were being drowned out by sensationalism and partisan narratives. I wanted to create a platform that challenged that status quo—a place where journalists could write freely, audiences could think critically, and voters could become better informed.Nuavect was born with a mission: to explore those fundamental grey areas, embracing agenda-free journalism as a tool to expand the minds of polarised readers while educating the electorate. We are a freelance-driven platform that prioritises independence and authenticity, giving journalists the space to tackle complex topics without the pressure to conform to predefined narratives.Why did I choose to take this leap? For years, I’ve been deeply concerned about the effects of depolarisation and deglobalisation—two seemingly opposing forces that carry significant risks for our society. Depolarisation without understanding risks diluting diversity of thought, while deglobalisation threatens the interconnected structures that bind us as a global community. These trends reflect larger societal challenges, and I wanted to ensure there was a platform where these critical conversations could take place responsibly and thoughtfully.Starting Nuavect hasn’t been without its challenges, but it’s been deeply rewarding to see how the platform is resonating with writers and readers alike. I’m excited to continue building this space for authentic storytelling, independent thought, and meaningful engagement with the issues that matter most to our collective future.

During my time as a Policy Intern for the Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce United Kingdom, I contributed to a range of initiatives that supported the organisation’s mission. My responsibilities included crafting policy-driven social media posts to effectively communicate the Chamber’s priorities and insights to a broader audience.In addition to managing these communications, I provided day-to-day support to the Secretary General, ensuring the smooth execution of various tasks and projects. I was also fortunate to assist in organising and supporting significant events, such as the APPG event on Business and the SDGs, as well as the high-profile “Re-imagining the Future of Trade” event hosted by Clifford Chance. These experiences offered invaluable exposure to international policy dialogue and advocacy at the intersection of business and sustainable development.
