My career aims revolve around data, software and pathology. I undertook a MScR in Veterinary Parasitology, producing the following research- https://doi.org/10.1016/j.vetpar.2019.07.007 and a shorter postgraduate certificate in Applied Data Science to better hone my data analytics and programming abilities.I have a year of experience working in commercial data analysis, handling and processing. My work called for meticulous care and close attention to detail in search of interesting patterns and anomalous data. I have academic and professional experience in scientific study, aquatic, microbiological and molecular laboratory work, scientific writing, public engagement, customer service, fieldwork, biological conservation and environmental/community regeneration. I also have extensive administrative/health and safety/relevant economic knowledge and experience from my time at Groundwork Wales. My work and educational experience, ranging from volunteering with the homeless and people suffering brain injuries, to presenting information to medical professionals and bioscience academics, as well as guiding undergraduate students in the Bristol University laboratories, cultivated strong interpersonal skills. In my analytical placements, I had to collate findings and present to both technical and non-technical audiences in a professional setting.
