Currently a final year student on the BA Modelmaking degree with Arts University Bournemouth, I am eager to develop my skills post-graduation and kickstart a career in the film industry.With a penchant for organic soft edge model making including sculpting, moulding/ casting, and foam work, I also understood the importance of challenging my creative horizon to expand my repertoire of skill. With such varied opportunities in the profession, I believe that becoming a modelmaker is committing to a lifetime of learning.Recently fortunate in securing a three-week internship with Aardman Features in the puppet department in November / December 2023, I was thrilled to be a part of the new Wallace and Gromit production and to be introduced to a variety of new making techniques including plasticine sculpting, injection moulding, silicone casting and silver soldering. This amazing experience not only increased my skills and confidence as a maker, but consolidated my love for creative storytelling and my passion to pursue this industry.
