Working with the Chair of the Change Council and its members to shape the innovation and change strategy for DLA Piper, ensuring we have a cohesive engagement plan across our different strands of innovation at the firm

Utilising the firm's bespoke Design Thinking methodology to promote a Radical Change mindset within the firm, engaging with our clients and our people to drive change. As Change Driver for DLA Piper, it was my responsibility to encourage ideation, and crucially shape ideas and encourage relevant delivery teams to execute and implement.

I worked closely with the firm's Innovation steering group to drive Innovation and Efficiency (I&E) throughout the way we operated as a firm. Selected to participate in Linklaters' Global Talent Programme, aimed at developing the future leaders of the firm. This programme involved participation in leadership centres with the Moller Institute and leveraging off of the experience of the 17 members of the cohort from across Business Services globally.Summer 2016, three month secondment to Linklaters' New York office.

I undertook a project on Technology and Innovation to support the US region in becoming more competitive in terms of its I.T. offering. The secondment involved engaging with Attorneys to gain an understanding of working practices, with a particular focus on those recently laterally hired. Also leveraging insight from alumni contacts at US law firms and clients to gain insight into the market.

Working in the HR function, I undertook various roles including within the Partner Advisory team, looking after HR matters for all Partners globally. I led on the Partner Elections, integration for lateral Partner hires and Partner Business Planning.I took a leading role on the coordination of all fora across London and specifically looking after the Managing Associate fora. I operated within a Business Partnering role to effectively support the partners within each group around their HR initiatives. This included annual performance management reviews, ER matters as and when they arose, Talent Management with the particular roll out of our Employee Value Proposition 'Our Deal' and Recruitment and Secondment management.Other roles included in the Diversity and Inclusion team and HR Projects and Services such as running the Global Engagement Survey.
