Team - CIB Technology-Order management system (FO)Working on building functionalities on the Order Management System that converts incoming client messages to the FIX protocol.Team - CIB Technology-Payments, Trade settlement, and clearingPlatform: Java, Spring, DB –Sybase ASE, Oracle, Linux• Part of a 3-member team that worked on delivering a payments server written on Java-Spring from scratch. The server converts inputs from the UI into the SWIFT payment formats (MT103, MT202, and MT210). The business crucial process is currently being used to make thousands of manual large value monthly payments.• Was a core member of a team that successfully delivered the clearing and settlements functionalities (MT54X) in a T+0 market (HKCC). The system is currently live and clearing thousands of trades a week.• Regular interactions with business end-users to understand and implement new solutions and to enhance/fix bugs on existing ones.• Assisting with multiple production support and analysis activities (on an L3 capacity).

Platform: Java, DB –Sybase ASE 15.5, DB2 9.7, Linux, Eclipse Collections, Reladomo (ORM)Team: Finance data engineering - Regulatory reportingContributions: • Implemented a stats gathering system in Java from scratch that proactively detects anomalies in daily trade and balance counts based on prior months’ recorded data. The system is implemented using the strategy pattern and it calculates anomalies using various anomaly detection algorithms.• On boarded a legacy DB2 DB warehouse system consisting of thousands of tables, views and functions onto the open source DB deployment tool Obevo.• Implemented a database query monitoring system in Java for DB2 from scratch that records and sends notifications of heavy and long running queries by recording the real-time query stats gathered by the DB2 database.• Enhanced an existing rules based product classification engine by making it a generic classification engine. On boarded an account based classification on this new system as a part of the project supporting GS’ acquisition of GE’s online deposits platform.Team: Controllers technology teamsContributions: • Was an integral part of 3 distinct functional projects including supporting applications that were responsible for reporting Fed’s Tic D and Tic SLT reports, Basel 3 advanced credit risk calculations, Liquidity and HQLA based results.• Setup a data cache used by various regulatory and internal reporting purposes by using the open source ORM and caching framework Reladomo.• Helped enhance the existing QA automation process and framework.

Platform: Java-Core Java, DB -Oracle 10gClient: ComverseComverse-ONE forms a one stop end to end billing solution for mobile service providers. A Single-API (SAPI) provides APIs that creates and manages accounts and subscribers and also other attributes that support subscribers like offers and balances. A range of standalone FE applications calls these APIs to perform various functions.Contribution: • Contributed to 4 features, also acted as a feature lead for one of them.• Complete end to end ownership of each feature is taken up. Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, making decisions and designing solutions to incorporate the requirements to the existing system, implementing these solutions, unit testing, bug fixing and providing support even after the solution reaches customer sites.• Part of the team that was sent onsite to Israel to help resolve issues in bringing live a telecom service provider.
