    Textio Jun 2019 - Apr 2020
    Seattle, Washington, Us
As Textio’s Applied Scientist, I helped companies build a relationship between the language they use every day, their corporate culture, and the people they end up hiring as a result. In addition to analyzing language patterns across Textio's global hiring data, I frequently interviewed industry visionaries, presented at conferences, and met with customers. With a PhD in digital signal processing, I was hired as Textio employee #6 to help engineer an early version of the company's flagship augmented writing technology. I then went on to build the role of VP of Customer Success, where I hired and led the teams that rolled out Textio's award-winning platform across a broad range of industries, including a quarter of all Fortune 100 companies.Connect with me on Twitter (@CharnaParkey) and here on LinkedIn to join the conversation.

  • Textio
    Director Of Customer Success
    Textio Dec 2016 - Dec 2017
    Seattle, Washington, Us
Like many emerging SaaS companies that have machine learning at the heart of their platform, Textio’s business model relies on a robust exchange of data with our customers. The more each customer fully adopts Textio into their writing process, the better the product works for everyone. That means that our customer success operation and data engineering have to be tightly integrated. That’s why we call it Customer Success Engineering.I've built our Customer Success Engineering discipline and am scaling the team and the system. When I'm not Directing I'm working directly with small startups and Fortune 100 companies, helping them use Textio to measure and correct for unconscious bias where it begins: in the language of their hiring and recruiting documents.
