I am currently a third year veterinary student at Lincoln Memorial University - College of Veterinary Medicine. Before entering veterinary school, I worked in a mixed animal practice from the time I graduated high school until I got accepted into veterinary school. Working in a mixed animal practice prepared me for veterinary school by giving me a good foundation for multiple species. I also gained confidence in my surgical skills while working in the clinic which translated well to live surgeries at school. While working in the clinic, one of my biggest goals was to promote client education which I hope to bring to the clinic I work at.
