Over the past three years as a Senior Lifeguard I have acquired skills which have excelled my understanding of pool safety and management. Through this position I have gained skills in leadership, complex problem solving, money management, and staff regulation. My goal in this position is to create a welcoming environment for both patrons and staff. I provided mentorship to staff and guided lifeguards and swim instructors on pool safety, providing care, and teaching techniques. Over the past six years, my experience as a lifeguard has been both rewarding and fulfilling. This role has allowed me to develop a unique skill set and gain valuable insights into ensuring the safety of individuals at aquatic facilities. In this position I have acquired crucial skills in rescue techniques, CPR, and first aid. I have provided vigilance, effective communication, and emergency response through my role.Over the past three years, my experience as a seasonal high school swim coach has been both fulfilling and educational. This role has allowed me to play a pivotal part in the development and success of young athletes. Here is a summary of my experience as a high school swim coach: Leadership and Mentorship: As a coach, I've had the opportunity to lead and mentor high school students who are passionate about swimming. I've provided guidance, motivation, and support to help them excel both in the pool and in life. Team Building: Fostering a sense of unity and teamwork among athletes has been a crucial aspect of my coaching role.
