Link Engineering Company (LINK) is a premier designer and manufacturer of precision test equipment, we specialize in developing customized solutions for Automotive, Aviation, Off-Highway, Rail and Civil Engineering industries.I conceptualize and design custom engineered Industrial test equipment and machines for the transportation industry. Areas of specialty include, but are not limited to, servohydraulic and electromechanical design. I have extensive experience designing standard and custom hydraulic power supplies as well as fatigue rated linear, rotary, and hydrostatic bearing actuators. Hydraulic power supplies and actuators are often just one piece of a much larger machine such as vibration tables, driveshaft and ball joint test stands, and load frames to name a few. I recently led the design of a vertical vibration table for the packaging industry. The unique design features a 11,000 pound-force linear hydrostatic bearing actuator sunk into a 10,000 pound reaction mass. Our competitors designs often require a pit or special accommodations to be built so that they are at a safe working height, but with our innovative design we were able to remove over 12 inches from our working height, no pit required. The result is a machine that offers unrivaled performance. This is just one example of a project where I have worked to create something new, innovative, efficient, and safe that pushes us further as a company and myself as an engineer. Other notable projects include hydraulic power supply standardization, four-square driveshaft dyno, and a 475kW driveshaft dyno capable of 2,500Nm of torque and 8,000rpm.
