I currently teach Engineering at Channelview High School. I instruct the students on the use of the Engineering Design process as well as the basic physics used in engineering. I also instruct students on the use of Autodesk Inventor. In addition to my teaching duties I am also the Assistant Robotics Coach for out First Robotics team. During the First Robotics Competition we are given a game in early January that we must then design and construct a robot to be able to compete in by March. The time and technical constraints of the development of this robot are a rewarding challenge both to myself and to my students. My skills in mathematics, physics, computer science, and coding are all a great benefit during these challenges, as is my ability to learn new skills and ideas quickly. In addition to my teaching and coaching duties, I also volunteer with our schools Interact club and conduct community service to help benefit those that are less fortunate as well as our community as a whole. In my spare time I like to educate myself about science, mathematics, and literature, as well as play video games to relax.
