The road which led to where I am today was a unique one. Rather than attending college straight out of high school, I took up full time work as a geological well-site consultant in the oil fields of West Texas. I later transitioned out of the oil field and became a professional athlete up until returning to college in my late twenties. Management of my personal finances afforded me the opportunity to attend college full time and focus 100% on school. Thanks to this, I attained my B.B.A. in Finance with honors and a certification in Energy Business in December 2019. The experiences I have gained over the course of my unconventional path to a degree in finance has helped shape me into a resilient individual capable of adapting to unique challenges quickly. Furthermore, I recently completed my Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (F.M.V.A.) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute.
