My ultimate objectives include applying my knowledge and ideas to help benefit my company and to provide excellent service to each and every guest. I am seeking higher end locations to exercise my ability to collaborate with people and apply my experience of service to improve customer satisfaction at any venue, and to create merit and add value to my company and employers to further progress the business and my own experience. I was pursuing an art major originally but after a few months in a bar and kitchen, I felt more passionate about providing service to people and making a positive impact on their day. After switching into the Hospitality major at UW-Stout, I thoroughly enjoyed the classes I was taking and the content I was learning. For the first time I really liked spending time on schoolwork and increasing my knowledge on a topic. I was eager to learn and practice new skills in person, leading me to my internships while attending the University.My restaurant was Monk's Bar and Grill in Eau Claire, WI, and they had me at every station in the kitchen and every position on the floor and the was the first time I felt I could implement my knowledge and refine my skills for something real. My hotel was the Staybridge Suites in Altoona, WI, and that was an excellent opportunity to expand my practices to a new area of hospitality after being in restaurants for several years.All of these experiences have introduced me to what I know I love and want to do in life, in the best ways possible. After finishing school, evolving myself to a higher level in the industry is the goal and I am looking forward to new opportunities of places to live and companies to work at. Nothing sounds better than if I can always continue to grow.
