Standing out with original, cutting-edge design is my main goal when designing for a commercial or nonprofit brand. I have 15+ years of experience working 1 on 1 with clients and providing them with high quality and effective design work. My wide range of styles and abilities in my arsenal allows me to create brand identities that not only increase revenue for the client but also maintain functionality over a range of print and web formats. As a designer I treat deadlines seriously, and work well under pressure. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 6 (CS6) on a Mac workstation. I am comfortable with juggling multiple projects at once, and see that each is treated with the same rigorous process and careful eye. Through the years I have maintained full-time design jobs as well as my freelance operation simultaneously.I enjoy bold color palettes, complex and intricate design as well as simple clean visuals. I consider myself a master in the aesthetics of typography and believe type to be just as important as a graphic element. If I had to describe my style in one word, it would be “bold.” If you asked me the response I have gotten the most, it would be “I love it!”When you see a design that is really well done, it makes you stop whatever you are doing and examine and read it. It's a powerful thing. And when you absorb it, the design has accomplished its mission. I love creating as well as experiencing that sensation. To design is exciting, overwhelming, and challenging all at once.Something inside leads me to design, but it was also the outward influence of design itself…the bold color, the "in your face" graphics and the seemingly limitless variety of fonts all combined into one composition.
