Upon joining RRS, my practice has shifted from an emphasis on commercial, financial, real estate, construction, employment, and health care litigation into more broad services for business clients beyond litigation. My experience includes:-First chair jury trial experience obtaining favorable judgment for defendant in business dispute involving real estate fraud, deceptive trade practices, and negligence;-Outside general counsel representation of multiple small businesses, including real estate development, retail, and shipping industry;-Large scale healthcare litigation against the Texas Department of Health and Human Services over its administration of the Medicaid program;-Pro Bono experience defending eviction appeals in Travis County.

As an associate at Brown McCarroll, L.L.P., I was a member of the firm’s litigation section.My practice emphasized commercial, financial, real estate, construction, healthcare, and appellate civil litigation. Specifically, my work entailed:-Managing a high-volume docket of real estate and foreclosure-related litigation for a major banking client involving extensive federal court motion practice;-Defending wrongful termination cases in state and federal court and before arbitration panels;-Defending a post-trial matter involving a mandatory injunction to tear down property improvements;-Representing individuals and healthcare providers in state and federal government false claims act litigation;-Representing plaintiffs and defendants in defamation cases involving Internet and other online statements.

As a Breifing Attorney for the Honorable Paul W. Green, I:-Drafted study memos for the Court’s review addressing legal issues presented in petitions for review;-Prepared initial drafts of majority, per curiam, concurring, and dissenting opinions;-Assisted Justice Green in preparation for oral arguments and conference.

I worked with customers to facilitate development of engineering applications using computer based tools, wrote application notes, tutorials, and journal articles detailing use cases and application areas for products.I was also active in recruiting for the Engineering Leadership Program.
