About Chase Taylor
I began my career working in basic research studying various forms of cancer and pulmonary fibrosis for 13 years. As a Lab Manager, I did the legwork to process numerous lung samples for single-cell sequencing and then analyzed the datasets using R and Python. This exposure to coding led me to pursue a Data Analytics Certificate from Nashville Software School. From Dec. 2023 to Aug. 2023, I worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst I for HCA where I cultivated my skills in SQL, Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Python. In Sept. 2023, I began working as a teaching assistant for Nashville Software School where I impart my knowledge to aspiring data analysts.
