Media and communication professional with a bachelors in Entrepreneurial Studies from Grand Canyon University. Growing up in the metropolitan area of Portland, Oregon, I was exposed to outdoor recreation and the arts throughout my childhood. I first had a camera in my hand in the third grade, filming and editing videos of my legos on the kitchen floor. In high school I was enrolled in my first film study class, where I fell in love with the process of production and storytelling. My early college years became a formative time in my career as I began to freelance and create content for athletic teams, athletes and local businesses. In the Summer of 2021 I lived in my van in the city of Jackson to pursue an Internship with Teton Gravity Research (TGR). during my tenure with TGR I had the opportunity to work on two feature films, an HBO original series, branded content for Sierra Nevada Brewing and various other content-focused projects to expand my knowledge and skillset of production and post-production. While attending Grand Canyon University I worked as both an Outdoors Guide and Manager of the Media department for GCU Outdoor Recreation. My love for guiding in the outdoors led me to a role with Backroads as an Active Travel Guide, post-graduation. Currently I am balancing the roles of being a traveling outdoor guide and working professionally in filmmaking/ media production.
