Providing support to different projects in ENTSO-E, TenneT, Coreso, Elering, Ofgem and many other in the field of power system modelling, studies and data modelling/exchanges. Member of IEC TC 57 WG13, WG14, WG16 and WG19, Member of CENELEC TC57. Member of IEC TC88 WG27.

Co-convenership of the ENTSO-E group on CGMES (Common Grid Model Exchange Standard). The group will maintain the CGMES and prepare future releases to meet various business requirements.

Preparation of the models for dynamic analyses and performing different kind of studies - dynamic stability analyses, steady state analyses (power flow and short circuit calculations), etc.

▪ Leading the team of 7 experts working on the following topics: 1) ENTSO-E Strategic Programme for Information Integration and Studies (SPRINTS) linked with the electricity infrastructure development and 2) R&D activities. Responsible for the budgets related to these activities. ▪ Providing support to the ENTSO-E Research and Development Committee. Providing support to the activities related to the knowledge sharing and monitoring of the research and innovation activities. Follow up of technology development.▪ Improvement of ENTSO-E data exchanges, preparation of pan-European models for long term system planning studies such as TYNDP; ▪ Leading development of IEC Common Information Model (CIM/XML) based data exchange format (ENTSO-E Common Grid Model Exchange Standard) and related conformity assessment process; ▪ Involved in the ENTSO-E project teams related to the Common Grid Model, i.e. Steering Group, Work Packages on CGMES, Operational Planning Data Environment and European Merging Function. ▪ Support to preparation of ENTSO-E R&D deliverables, i.e. R&D Roadmap and Implementation Plan▪ Involvement in the European Electricity Grid Initiative (EEGI), Advisory Board TPWind, EERA, Grid+Storage project, etc. Providing senior expertise to the ENTSO-E project - Network Modelling Database.

Responsible for the liaison ENTSO-E - IEC TC57 WG13 on development of CIM and Common Grid Model Exchange Specification (CGMES) IEC TS 61970-600-1 and IEC TS 61970-600-2.

Organising and directing one UCTE and six large international CIM Interoperability Tests (IOP).

▪ Providing support to the ENTSO-E Research and Development Committee. Providing support to the activities related to the knowledge sharing and monitoring of the research and innovation activities. Providing senior expertise to the ENTSO-E project - Network Modelling Database. ▪ From Sep 2013 on - responsible for the ENTSO-E Strategic Programme for Information Integration and Studies, directly linked to the efforts on electricity infrastructure development. Providing senior guidance and leading a team of 3-5 experts involved in SPRINTS and R&D activities.

Responsible for the liason between UCTE and IEC TC57 WG13. Acrivities linked with the development of CIM and derived from it European data exchange standard.

Convening a group tasked to develop a new data exchange format to be used for exchanging power system data supporting load flow, short circuit and dynamic studies performed in system operation and system development activities.

▪ Improvement in data handling in the UCTE, ▪ preparation of long term planning models for UCTE synchronous area, ▪ Support to the first UCTE Transmission Plan and coordinating planning activities,

Power System Engineer at System Analyses and Transmission Planning Department, National Dispatching Center. ▪ Responsible for transmission system modelling, power system planning activities which involved steady state and dynamic analyses of the Bulgarian power system and surrounding systems. ▪ Performing calculations of settings for excitation systems and participating in the commissioning tests.
