I was born and raised in picturesque Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas, with its brick streets and downtown square. My father, along with his five brothers, loved to cook; in fact, growing up I remember my father and uncles cooking more than my mother and my aunts.After graduating from high school and getting a degree in Music from a seminary in Jackson, MS, I moved to Bucharest, Romania. I lived there for almost four years, studying the Romanian language at the Universitate de București before moving to Paris to study cuisine and later baking.I’ve now lived in Paris for 16 years. Since the pandemic I have been working considerably in the USA, traveling back and forth, teaching cooking classes, consulting for restaurants and bakeries, providing personal chef experiences, and since February 2023, partnering with companies all across the USA to bring the Moveable Feast Traveling Culinary School to their demonstration kitchens.
