I took up a part-time contract position with the Corporate Solutions business, focusing specifically on delivering three key training programs related to proposal development, business pitching and presentation skills. In total, I trained some 200 staff in Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan and India. During the contract term, I was also assisting in the development of two new training programs for launch in 2015.

My key project in my first year in Learning & Development was to launch the firm's training hub, the Jones Lang LaSalle Academy across the Asia Pacific region. This was done on 1 February 2012 and primary responsibilities include overseeing and delivering the marketing and communications programs related to the launch, development of the Academy portal and roll-out of several key learning programs. During the course of 2012, I was also involved in the development and facilitation of two regional leadership programs and two training programs that touched on personal and managerial excellence, as well as providing input for the development and launch of two mobile learning Apps.

I joined Jones Lang Wootton in 1997 and over the course of 14 years in Marketing, carved out my career as follows:- Assistant Manager, Corporate Affairs, Singapore (1997)- Manager, Marketing and Communications, Singapore (1998-2000)- Manager, Internal Communications, Asia Pacific (1999-2000)- Associate Director, Marketing and Communications, Global Client Services, Asia Pacific (2001)- Head of Internal Communications and Public Relations, Asia Pacific (2002/2003) - Corporate Communications Director, Asia Pacific (2004-2011) and a trainer for the firm’s sales training programs (since 2008) Key career highlights include:- Successful delivery of the firm’s inaugural Asia Pacific Leadership Conference in Singapore in 2011- Led the onboarding program of new regional CEO through a mix of internal and media initiatives (2009)- Involved in change communications for five mergers and acquisitions in 2007/2008 and one joint venture in 2008 - Joint-lead for the launch of the new brand positioning “Real value in a changing world” in 2007/2008 in Asia Pacific - Launched two major Asia Pacific brand and research campaigns: “Quality Advice=Quality Decisions” (2004-2007) and the “Apple” campaign around the repositioning of our research products (2006-2007). • Raised the media profile of the firm in Asia Pacific substantially. Conducted media and crisis communications training for over 30 spokespeople in Singapore, China (Beijing and Shanghai), Japan and Hong Kong. Engaged and managed three public relations firms in the key markets of China, India and Japan.- Set and raised the firm's internal communications framework and standards.- Delivered a series of sales training programs across the region
