Employment coach's responsibilities include helping participants to prepare for job interviews, recommending effective job search techniques, and working with participants to enhance their job skills. The EC also be able to address any concerns employers may have regarding the hiring of participants of our diverse audience.An EC is knowledgeable of different career paths and committed to helping participants achieve their employment-related objectives. Ultimately, an outstanding EC should be able to build rapport with employers & participants and demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to nurture employment partners for successful onboarding of participants• Developing and implementing effective coaching strategies to help participants overcome employment-related challenges.• Identifying participants’ strengths and advising them on how to use those strengths to secure employment or excel in their chosen career path.• Providing information on suitable career paths based on clients' skills, qualifications, interests, and experience.• Reviewing participants’ resumes and suggesting improvements as needed.• Monitor, measure and ensure documentation of key KPIs for engagement and results of clients, with a focus on ensuring effectiveness, opportunities for improvement and accurate reporting• Identify and incorporate the use of community partners, volunteers, 3rd party providers and outsourced activities to enable/support successful community reentry• Liaising with employers to identify possible job opportunities for our participants’.• Teaching participants’ how to use job-related tools, instruments, and equipment correctly.

The Workforce Development Supervisor WDS will work on programs and support activities directly related to achieving the mission, vision, and objectives of the Foundation. This role will be responsible for providing classroom oversight and educational and training support for one of our Career PATHS Workforce Development Centers.-Provide oversight and management of activities necessary to ensure client engagement throughout the Career PATHS program, including completion of required and recommended program activities. -Work directly with clients to ensure their successful completion of all required training activities.-Provide oversight and facilitation of Career PATHS programs at the department of corrections-Understand and support department of corrections requirements and guidelines and maintain adherence/ensure compliance to facility rules and security requirements-Monitor, measure and ensure documentation of key KPIs for engagement and results of clients, with a focus on ensuring effectiveness, opportunities for improvement and accurate reporting-Utilize technology to track and report on the activities and results of programs, participants, volunteers, grants and partners.

As a Correctional Rec Leader at the Indiana State Prison, you will be responsible for working as a part of a team in a maximum-security Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) facility for adult males. During a 7.5-hour shift, you will be responsible for the security of the recreation building, and the safety of the incarcerated individuals during the recreation lines. You will be responsible for implementing daily recreational programs during your shift with added responsibilities communicated to you by the Rec Coordinator.-Plans, initiates, organizes, and conducts recreational activities in one or more of the following program areas: holiday activities, swimming, arts and crafts, and/or softball;• Works with individual or a small group where inmates are withdrawn and/or resistive to treatment;• Assists in directing volunteers in recreation;• Recommends the purchase of recreation equipment and repairs damaged equipment;• Maintains necessary records of programs and student evaluations;• Handles and reports inmate disciplinary problems arising from recreational events;• Occasionally acts as coordinator in the absence of the Recreation Coordinator;• Assists in instructing and coordinating the work of subordinates;• Performs related work as required.
