Employment Coach
CurrentEmployment coach's responsibilities include helping participants to prepare for job interviews, recommending effective job search techniques, and working with participants to enhance their job skills. The EC also be able to address any concerns employers may have regarding the hiring of participants of our diverse audience.An EC is knowledgeable of different career paths and committed to helping participants achieve their employment-related objectives. Ultimately, an outstanding EC should be able to build rapport with employers & participants and demonstrate excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.• Ability to nurture employment partners for successful onboarding of participants• Developing and implementing effective coaching strategies to help participants overcome employment-related challenges.• Identifying participants’ strengths and advising them on how to use those strengths to secure employment or excel in their chosen career path.• Providing information on suitable career paths based on clients' skills, qualifications, interests, and experience.• Reviewing participants’ resumes and suggesting improvements as needed.• Monitor, measure and ensure documentation of key KPIs for engagement and results of clients, with a focus on ensuring effectiveness, opportunities for improvement and accurate reporting• Identify and incorporate the use of community partners, volunteers, 3rd party providers and outsourced activities to enable/support successful community reentry• Liaising with employers to identify possible job opportunities for our participants’.• Teaching participants’ how to use job-related tools, instruments, and equipment correctly.
