I currently reside in Bellingham, WA and am honored to live in the ancestral homelands of the Coast Salish People. I have a deep attachment to the forests, mountains, waters, and culture of the Pacific Northwest. I've been involved in the world of environmental activism since I was a teenager. I got my degree in Environmental Education and have worked with a variety of environmental non-profits working towards a more just and sustainable world. In 2020 I first learned the terms eco-grief and climate anxiety, and my whole world suddenly made sense. I understood that the overwhelming fear, despair, grief, and hopelessness I felt on a regular basis were not something I was experiencing alone but many others were struggling with these same emotions. So I began gathering as many resources as possible on this topic and started down my own healing journey. I now work as an EcoSomatic Coach and my business is called Somatic Earth. I use nature-based and body-centered practices to help people hold space for their climate emotions, cultivate more hope, and embody resilience.
