I would provide intensive, in-home therapy for the entire family, with focus on the child. These sessions would take place in the home or in the community and I would work on a range of technique with them, such as coping skills, deescalation and safety plans, emotional identification, and behavioral modification plans. I also did Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) with clients that had experienced trauma. Average length with each case/family would be 6 months, with 4-6 hours of therapy a week, and I would participate in court hearings, IEPs, and case manager meetings as well as the home components.
