To improve workforce productivity and work quality/efficiency by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, spares/parts, material and equipment.• Creating maintenance plans for equipment or assets in own maintenance portfolio and recommends maintenance intervals of equipment.• Carrying out Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) studies for area of responsibility.• Generating maintenance cost reports of equipment and analyses resource utilization efficiency for individual work centres.• Implementing asset care scorecards and inspections• Recommending machinery/components for capital replacement based on analysis of time efficiency and total operating cost.• Scoping the full extent of maintenance work needed to conduct the relevant repair, preventive, and predictive design• Writing maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality.• Analysing material usage and conditions of equipment and recommends corrective measures.• Keeps track of statutory and safety audit findings and ensuring timely reviews and close outs are done.• In liaison with the Garage Manager, ensuring that adequate material and spares for each section are present/available.
